, it just smells like leather.It's hard to press the power and volume buttons, but this because of the way the tablet curves on the edge (the buttons are between being on the side and the back.Any case that adequately protects the sides will probably have a similar issue.You can only use the case as a stand in the landscape orientation.In the portrait orientation, it is too front heavy and tips over.Because the "bottom" of the tablet is on the hinge side, you have to have the cover open to insert the charger.It would be very convenient if there were a small hole in the case to expose the charging/dock connector with the tablet closed.

This is a good case, but the title is misleading.This is not a leather case.This is made using something called PU leather which seems to be synthetic "leather" material.Overall a good case:Pros:- TP feels much more secure once it is in the cover- Openings for all the critical locations- Fairly light weight- fake leather feels ok- low costCons:- Not real leather- Unable to charge unit with case closed.No hole on the cover for the charging cable.Case must be opened to charge.
